Pain2Care ("App"), developed by Tech4Pioneers ("we", "us", "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application and website (pain2care.com). Please read this policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, please discontinue use of the App.
When you register and use Pain2Care you may provide your name, email address, and health-related data such as pain levels, symptoms, notes, and safety incident records.
We may collect device information (device type, OS version), usage data (features used, session length), and crash reports to improve app performance.
Sensitive records (e.g. safety documentation) are encrypted on-device and protected by your chosen PIN. Tech4Pioneers does not have access to PIN-locked content.
Pain2Care requests access to your device's microphone solely to enable voice input in two places: (1) the pain journal entry field and (2) the incident report notes field. This feature is designed to assist users who have difficulty using a keyboard due to chronic pain or physical limitations. Voice input is processed on-device or via your device's built-in speech recognition service. We do not record, store, or transmit your voice data to our servers.
We use the information we collect to:
(a) provide, operate, and maintain the App;
(b) improve and personalise your experience;
(c) send transactional and support communications;
(d) comply with legal obligations under EU/Finnish law and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Under GDPR Art. 6 and Art. 9, we process your personal and health data on the basis of: your explicit consent (given at registration); performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for); and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, service improvement) where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with trusted service providers (cloud hosting, analytics, customer support) under strict data-processing agreements. If required by law, we may disclose data to competent authorities.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Payment data is handled exclusively by Google. We do not collect or store credit card or payment information.
We use RevenueCat Inc. to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat may collect purchase history, subscription status, and device identifiers to provide subscription management services. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days as required by GDPR.
You have the right to: access, rectify, or erase your personal data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; withdraw consent at any time; and lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

Pain2Care is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We do not collect or store credit card or payment information. Subscription management and refund requests must be handled through your Google account settings.
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information.
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
